Dan Patt

Dan Patt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and strategic leadership across various organizations. Currently, Dan holds multiple roles, including positions at Thomas H Lee Partners, STR, and the Hudson Institute, while also serving as a partner at The Pivotal Group. Previously, Dan co-founded and served as CEO of Vecna Robotics, focusing on automation solutions for logistics and material handling. Dan's leadership experience extends to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where Dan was Deputy Director of the Strategic Technology Office, managing significant budgets and leading efforts to enhance U.S. technological superiority. Additionally, Dan has held key roles at Karem Aircraft and as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments. Dan’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan.
