Jerry Sun

Jerry Sun is an Associate Scientist at STR since July 2023, previously serving as an Associate Software Engineer at Innovative Defense Technologies from August 2022 to July 2023. Prior experience includes a role in the UMD-NASA Collaboration at NASA from November 2020 to August 2022, where work involved visualizing point-cloud data in virtual reality alongside Professor Roger Eastman. Jerry Sun also interned at Leidos, first as a Software Engineer intern at STOL in December 2020, focusing on testing DOT's Spectrum project, and then from May to August 2020, working on the migration of the CARMA platform for self-driving vehicle testing. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Maryland (2018-2022) and graduation from Centennial High School (2014-2018).
