Richard Wood

Richard Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and research, currently serving as Principal Scientist at STR since February 2022. Prior to this role, Richard was a Senior Principal Research Engineer at Scientific Systems and held multiple senior engineering positions at Raytheon, including Senior Principal Systems Engineer. Richard also contributed to Draper as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and began their career at Raytheon in various engineering roles. Richard's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
