Hossain Akter

Hossain Akter, FCCA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management and control. Currently serving as Head of Finance UK at STRABAG since September 2020, Hossain has previously held roles such as Senior Finance Manager and Finance Controller within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Financial Controller at Inspired Learning Group and Management Accountant at Alpha Plus Group Ltd. Hossain began a career in finance as a Corporate Accountant with Total Gas & Power Ltd and an Accounts Assistant at Oracle Global Resourcing Ltd. Academic qualifications include becoming an ACCA Member from 2011 to 2016, a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Management from Geneva Business School.
