Strand Book Store
Nuranisa (Tiko) Tjiptarto possesses extensive experience in library services, event coordination, and public relations. Currently serving as Events Coordinator and Rentals Coordinator at Strand Book Store since November 2015, Nuranisa has previously held roles at Johnson Public Library, including Circulation Department Library Assistant and Junior Department Page Monitor. Additional experience includes positions as Administrative Assistant at Universal Music Group and Marketing Communications Intern at SoHo Companies. Nuranisa has a solid educational background with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey and previous studies at Ithaca College, focusing on culture and communication.
Strand Book Store
The Strand was born in 1927 over on Fourth Avenue on what was then called ”Book Row”. Book Row covered six city blocks and housed forty-eight bookstores.
