James Gill has extensive experience in eCommerce and merchandising, currently serving as the Head of eCommerce Trade & Merchandising at Strandbags since January 2022. Prior to this role, James was the General Manager of eCommerce at rebel Sport within Super Retail Group from July 2019 to December 2021. James also held various positions at David Jones, including Digital Trading Manager and Omni Channel Merchandise Planning Specialist, from January 2013 to June 2019. Earlier in James's career, experience included roles such as Senior Merchandise Planner at Millers - Specialty Fashion Group, Merchandise Planner for Sports Clothing & Men's Fashion Brands at Shop Direct Group, and Merchandiser Planner in Sportswear and Men's Fashion Apparel at Matalan. James started as an Assistant Merchandiser at Shop Direct Group in February 1997, gaining foundational expertise in merchandising.
