Joost Willemse

Joost Willemse started their work experience in 1998 as an Oracle Developer at Getronics PinkRoccade. Joost then worked as a Software Engineer at FINAN Financial Analysis from 2004 to 2010, where they became a Project Leader and was responsible for various implementation projects. In 2010, they joined Topicus Finan as a Product Owner for banking until 2014. Joost then moved to Topicus Business Lending, where they became the Chief Scrum Master from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2023, Joost worked at Topicus.Finance, starting as an Agile Coach and Delivery Manager, and later becoming a Business Line Manager and Manager Technisch Beheer. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at Stranded Flight Solutions.

Joost Willemse pursued their higher education starting from 1984 to 1990 at Petrus Canisius College, where they obtained a VWO degree. Following this, from 1990 to 1995, they attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences and studied Milieukunde without receiving a specific degree. In 1998, Joost briefly attended Cens University for 4GL-Rad Developer, but the information about any degree obtained is not available.

Apart from their formal education, Joost Willemse obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2021.
