Tijmen Lohmeijer

Tijmen Lohmeijer is an experienced experience designer, currently working at Tijmen Lohmeijer since July 2016, specializing in creating informative experiences and installations through new media, visuals, sound, playful interactions, and principles of theatre and game design. Notable projects include collaboration with clients such as Het Nationaal Archief, Atria, Theatergroep Droogwater, and Koninklijke Bibliotheek Den Haag. As a project coordinator at Stranded FM since 2017, Tijmen has co-organized various events, focusing on enhancing Utrecht's cultural landscape. Additionally, Tijmen serves as the music producer and DJ for Tala Drum Corps, while previously holding roles as an event promoter and guest curator at EKKO and project coordinator at HKU Café, facilitating collaboration among students from different artistic disciplines. Tijmen Lohmeijer holds a Bachelor of Art & Technology with a focus on Interactive Performance Design from Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht.
