Shantanu Bafna

Shantanu Bafna is a highly adaptable biostatistician and bioinformatics expert, currently serving as a Bioinformatics Engineer III at Strand Life Sciences. With an M.S. in Bioinformatics and Business Analytics, along with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Bioinformatics, Shantanu has developed a comprehensive skill set that includes multi-omics data analysis and statistical modeling for clinical trials. Previously, Shantanu held positions such as Associate Bioinformatician at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Senior Computational Statistician at Eli Lilly and Company, contributing to significant projects in biomedical research. With a strong command of programming languages and bioinformatics tools, Shantanu is committed to advancing the fields of biostatistics and bioinformatics through impactful research and collaboration.
