Alex Wilhelm

Alex Wilhelm has a diverse work experience in the finance and clean energy industries.

From 2017 onwards, Alex has been working at Strata Clean Energy, starting as a Development Manager and progressing to Manager and Director roles in the Capital Markets division. Currently, Alex holds the position of Senior Vice President - Capital Markets at Strata Clean Energy.

Prior to that, Alex was the Founder and Board of Directors at United Solar Initiative from 2013 to the present. In this role, Alex managed fundraising campaigns, project development, and partnerships with non-profit and for-profit organizations to install off-grid solar photovoltaic systems in rural areas of Nicaragua and develop the local solar industry.

Before joining Strata Clean Energy and United Solar Initiative, Alex worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities from 2016 to 2017 and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in 2015.

Alex Wilhelm received their BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they pursued further studies in Finance at the Copenhagen Business School from 2014 to 2015.
