Adam Travis has extensive experience in various roles related to system administration, custom programming, and project management. Adam worked as a Senior Consultant at Strata Information Group since 2013. Before this, they were a Senior Programmer/Analyst at Dartmouth College, where they were responsible for system administration, custom PL/SQL programming, project management, upgrade planning, training, and support for Ellucian Banner. Adam also worked at Emerson College, where they held several roles, including Enterprise Systems Administrator, Network and Information Security Manager, and Software Services Representative. In these roles, they were responsible for system administration, custom programming, security, and support for SunGard Banner, data migration, training, and support for CBORD CS Gold campus card system, and support for administrative software, including Dean Evans EMS and Visix AxisTV. Prior to this, Adam worked as a Master Electrician at Portland Stage Company and Idaho Shakespeare Festival, where they managed lighting and sound equipment, maintained computers, software, servers, and network equipment, and provided tech support for users.

Adam Travis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership Studies and Computer Science from the University of Richmond in 1999. Adam then attended the California Institute of the Arts from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Lighting Design and Production Management. In May 2021, Travis obtained certification as a Climate Reality Leader from the Climate Reality Leadership Corps.
