Eric Lane

Eric Lane has 30+ years of experience in technical and business roles. Eric began their career as a Supply Admin Clerk in the United States Marine Corps and gained experience in leadership, budget management, inventory management, and logistics support. Later, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst for EIS International, where they provided frontline O/S, hardware, and software support to call centers and created customized reporting programs. Eric then worked as a Senior Technical Analyst for Datatel, where they supported system administrators, debugged UNIX shell scripts, and provided alternative login/startup scripts. Eric also worked at Credit Suisse as a Technical Support Analyst, where they globally supported numerous UNIX and NT systems. In 2008, they became a Business Systems Analyst for North Carolina Community College System, where they provided application and business process support for all 58 NC Community Colleges, worked in a cross-functional team environment, and created customized solutions through database reporting and software rules. Later, they joined Strata Information Group as a Senior Consultant in 2012, where they built upon their extensive experience and provided project management leadership, managed IT programming/administrative computing staff, evaluated internal processes and procedures, and assisted in Colleague to Workday integration.

Eric Lane earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Communications from Quincy University between 1990 and 1994. Later on, they pursued another Bachelor's degree and ultimately earned a Bachelor's degree in Leadership in the Public Sector from North Carolina State University between 2011 and 2014.
