Kimberly Saving-Sherman has over 20 years of work experience, having worked in various roles in different companies. Kimberly started their career in higher education, working at Roosevelt University and later, Spring Hill College. Kimberly then shifted into consulting and project management roles related to higher education technology solutions. Kimberly worked at SunGard Higher Education, where they held multiple roles over several years, including Interim Practice Manager, Team Manager, and Senior Principal Consultant. After SunGard, they worked at Ellucian, where they served as the Need Center Manager. Kimberly later moved on to rSmart, where they became the Director of Consulting Services. After rSmart was purchased by Navigator Management Partners, they continued on as a Project Manager. Currently, they are working as a Senior Consultant at Strata Information Group. Throughout their career, their responsibilities have included managing staff, setting budgets, ensuring quality control processes are in place, and maintaining client relationships.

Kimberly Saving-Sherman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in International Business from Auburn University in 1993. From 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. In 2011, they obtained a certification as a SunGard Higher Education Certified Manager from SunGard Higher Education. In 2020, they attended the Ellucian Live Online conference and obtained an attendee certification.
