Varun Patel

Varun Patel has had a successful career in supply chain management. Varun is currently the Head of Supply Chain at STRATA Manufacturing PJSC since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at TE Connectivity as a Senior Manager, Integrated Supply Chain from July 2020 to July 2023. Before that, they served as the Site Supply Chain Manager at Valeo from June 2019 to July 2020. Varun also gained valuable experience at GKN plc, where they held various roles, including Commodity Lead, Supply Chain Manager, and Supply Chain Coordinator - SAP Implementation from November 2018 to June 2019, August 2016 to November 2018, and April 2014 to August 2016, respectively. Varun also participated in the International Leadership Development Programme at GKN plc from September 2012 to April 2014. Varun began their career as a Production Operator at Jaguar Land Rover from January 2012 to September 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a DC Planning Analyst at XPO Logistics Europe from August 2006 to January 2012. Varun gained early experience in supply chain management as an Assistant Technical Manager at Tube Lines from July 2009 to October 2010.

From 2004 to 2006, Varun attended Barnet College London, where they pursued a degree in AVCE Information and Communication Technology, focusing on Information Technology.

Later, from 2006 to 2011, Varun enrolled at City, University of London, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

In 2019 to 2020, Varun pursued further professional development by completing a Diploma at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, specializing in CIPS.
