Victor Gerdes

Victor Gerdes has over 30 years of experience in product management, software strategy, and engineering roles. Victor has worked in renowned companies such as Stratasys and PTC, where they held various leadership positions. At Stratasys, they contributed to the transformation of value creation in additive manufacturing and 3D printing through GrabCAD software solutions. Victor also led teams, set roadmaps, and collaborated with partners. At PTC, they served as a Vice President in multiple product management roles, focusing on augmented reality, IoT, and user experience. Additionally, Victor has a strong academic background, having worked as a Project Engineer and Engineering Process Consultant at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they also held teaching positions. Prior to that, they started their career as a Gyroscope Design Engineer at SINGER CORP.

Victor Gerdes pursued their educational journey with a diverse range of degrees and certifications. In 1986, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree with a concentration in Machine Design from Stevens Institute of Technology. Following this, they obtained a Certificate in Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School in 1990. Wanting to further specialize their knowledge, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanism Design from Stevens Institute of Technology, finishing in 1991. Lastly, in 2006, they acquired a Certificate in Business Administration from Babson College.
