John Allies

John Allies has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John worked as a Managing Director at Strategic Allies Ltd, where they helped manufacturing companies find innovative technologies to solve specific problems. John also served as a Licensing Director at NicoBloc plc and as a Commercial Director at Nottingham Technology Ventures. Additionally, John worked as a Director at IILP and as a Director of Licensing at Worldlink Group PLC. John was the Vice President & Business Development Director UK at UTEK Corporation, responsible for European development operations. Prior to that, they worked as an International Business Development Manager at BURMAH CASTROL PLC, and as a Commercial Strategic Analyst at Lucas Electronics. John started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Pirelli General. John is currently serving as a Visiting Fellow of Innovation Management in Loughborough University London, where they are involved in innovation and technology scouting activities.

John Allies attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained an MBA in Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied at The University of Sheffield from 1981 to 1984, earning a BMet in Metallurgy & Materials Science.
