Kevin Gates

Kevin Gates is the Vice President for Advanced Concepts at Strategic Analysis Incorporated. Kevin has been in this role since December 2017 and is responsible for managing a corporate division within Strategic Analysis with contracts across the Navy, Air Force and Office the Secretary of Defense. In this role, they have day-to-day responsibility for managing contracts and workforce across the division, as well as articulating and pursuing a strategy for maintain high standards of customer service, as well as growth into new technology sectors and customer sets.

Prior to joining Strategic Analysis, Mr. Gates was the President of the Information Professionals Association (IPA). In this role, they were responsible for providing thought leadership on areas of critical concern for the national security and technological leadership of the United States. Kevin also advised corporate leadership on trends in information and cybersecurity to protect the corporate data assets and networks of Strategic Analysis.

Mr. Gates has a long history of working in the technology sector and has been instrumental in helping the United States maintain its position as a leader in this arena. Kevin is a highly respected figure in the industry and their work has helped shape the way that technology is used in the military and government sectors.

Kevin Gates has a MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a BA in Theirtory and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Kevin also attended Northern High School.
