Bron Gervais, CISSP

Bron Gervais, CISSP has over 30 years of diverse work experience in the field of information systems and cybersecurity. Bron has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in a range of technical areas.

Starting in 1985, Bron worked as a Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they conducted systems analysis and introduced Apple Macintosh computers in a classified computing environment. Bron then joined the American Public Power Association in 1995 as the Director of Information Systems, where they managed all aspects of information systems for a national trade association.

Bron's work experience also includes positions at Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care Inc., Fairfax Public Access TV, 40Plus of Greater Washington, and Your Way IT Solutions LLC. At Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care, Inc., they designed and implemented a computer lab for children while also debugging unreliable staff systems as an IT Consultant.

Furthermore, Bron has significant experience in contractor roles. Bron worked as a Contractor at Evolve Technologies, where they led a server virtualization project. Bron also served as a Contractor at Your Way IT Solutions, LLC, leading a migration project from Exchange to Google Apps.

Bron's most recent work experience includes roles at ITT, Exelis, and Strategic Business Systems (SBS). At ITT, they were an Active Directory Systems Engineer, member of the top-level escalation team, and an ESM Systems Engineer. At Exelis, they worked on the Exelis OMDAC-SWACA contract, serving as an ESM Data Center Storage Engineer and later as a Lead AD ESM.

Currently, Bron is a SAN Engineer at Strategic Business Systems (SBS), where they work on the Regional Cyber Center, Europe (RCC-E) project as a member of the SAN Team on subcontract to Northrop Grumman, U.S.

Throughout their career, Bron has demonstrated their technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to provide guidance and mentoring to teams.

Bron Gervais, CISSP, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technologies (BSIT) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale from 1992 to 1993. In terms of additional certifications, Bron obtained a CISSP certification from (ISC)2 in July 2011. Bron also holds certifications in Linux Essentials from DC3 Cyber Training Academy (obtained in July 2022), NCIE-BR from NetApp (obtained in April 2014), NCDA from NetApp (obtained in December 2013), VCP from VMware (obtained in October 2013), MCITP-EA from Microsoft (obtained in July 2011), and ITIL 4 ® Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in June 2023).
