Nyla Flatau

Nyla Flatau joined SGR in 2022 and currently serves as a Recruitment Coordinator. Having spent almost 22 years in local government and retiring from the City of McAllen, TX, Nyla gained knowledge in many aspects of local government through her service as Director of Administrative Services overseeing Administration, Education and Communications, Grants and Contracts, Strategic Planning, and serving as the Utility Board Secretary. Nyla is a Certified Public Manager, and was recently recertified as a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk.

Nyla holds a master’s degree in public administration, as well as bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Texas – Pan American.
