Jim Rubin

Jim Rubin is the founder and CEO of Strategic Insight. He has created a people-centric culture and builds lasting relationships with both our staff members and clients.

Jim is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA in Finance from National University in San Diego, California. With thirty-five years of direct experience in the Department of Defense and private industry from strategic planning and logistics to financial forecasting risk analysis and program management, Jim's expertise is sought out for program reviews, program management, and evaluating alternatives for a wide range of activities encompassing massive amounts of capital and manpower. He has created, organized, and led national public charities and worked with space exploration technology, a dance company, a local school system, a county government, a renewable energy source power plant development project, and an intergenerational program. Under his careful guidance, Strategic Insight has grown while maintaining a solid reputation for turning out great work and providing sound advice. Jim serves on Strategic Insight's Board of Directors.

His professional associations include the American Management Association, the American Society of Naval Engineers, Market Technician Association, and Virginians for the Arts, but his passion outside of running the company is spending time with his Irish Water Spaniels.
