Troy Kimmel

Troy Kimmel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and program management within the defense sector. Currently serving as an Executive Associate at Strategic Insight, Ltd. since January 2008, Kimmel has led the development and presentation of the Director’s Strategic Planning, Analysis and Communications war room for the Missile Defense Agency and served as the architect for the Surface Navy 30-Year Combat Power Plan War Room. Kimmel's prior roles include Technical Director at General Dynamics Information Technology, where responsibility encompassed the Surface Warfare Capabilities for the 21st Century Study, along with engineering positions at TRW Information Systems & Technology and Techmatics, Inc. Kimmel began a career in engineering at the Army Research Lab and holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from Miami University.
