Curt V.

Curt V. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades.

Starting in 1980, they established their own cartooning business called "Curtoons by Curt Visca," where they created a cartoon strip and hosted the award-winning TV show "It's Curtoon Time." Through this venture, they taught children and adults how to draw and created instructional content on YouTube.

In 1994, Curt became a School Principal for CUSD, where they successfully launched a K-6 school and doubled its enrollment within the first year. Curt effectively built relationships with stakeholders and managed a large student body, families, and staff members. Curt retired from this role in June 2020 after 26 years.

While working as a School Principal, Curt also served as an Adjunct Faculty Professor at Concordia University Irvine from 2015. Curt taught numerous Master of Arts in Education courses, consistently receiving high evaluations from students. Curt also contributed to the development of online and distance learning articles for the university.

Additionally, Curt worked as the Head of School & Principal Substitute at San Clemente Christian School from 2020 to 2021. During this time, they provided leadership and support in the absence of the Head of School and Principal.

Since 2021, Curt has been involved with Strategic Kids, LLC, serving as the Director of School Day Support and Cartooning. In this role, they assist school districts and schools with staffing needs and teaches children life skills and creativity through online interactive cartooning video lessons.

Between 2006 and 2015, Curt was an Associate Professor at Saddleback College, where they taught various education, school psychology, and child development courses. Curt also served on the Child Development & Education Advisory Board, providing valuable guidance and support.

Curt V. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication (Advertising) from California State University, Fullerton. Curt also holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from National University and an Administrative Credential in Educational Administration from UC Irvine. Additionally, Curt has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in areas such as Building Trust, Marketing for Social Change, Strategic Thinking, and Leadership Foundations.
