Timothy C. (Biff) Mays Sr. has over 38 years of work experience in the US Army. From 1981 to 2018, they held various command, leadership, and staff assignments, including platoon leader, AVUM company command, AVIM Production Control OIC, Quality Control OIC, and AVIM company command. Timothy C. (Biff) was also the Commander of the US Army Aviation Company of the 11-nation Multinational Force and Observers (MFO). During this time, they were awarded the XVIII Airborne Corps AAAA Maintenance Unit of the Year (Small Unit) and The United States Army Phoenix Award (Small Unit).
From 1996 to 1999, Mays worked at the 4-159th Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Battalion / Maintenance Management Division as the Support Operations Officer / Director, and was responsible for staff supervision of all aviation maintenance and logistics activities provided by three companies dispersed to across the US at forts Bragg, Campbell, Stewart, Drum, and Polk.
From 1999 to 2003, Mays was the Chief, Logistics Operation Center at the US Army General Staff, and was responsible for daily update briefings to the senior civilian and military leadership of the U.S. From 2003 to 2004, they were the Logistics Officer at the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (G4), and was the lead DCSLOG staff officer for the DCSOPS Global War on Terror Tiger Team.
From 2005 to 2007, Mays worked at Camber Corporation as the Program Manager, and was responsible for leading the planning and execution of the Common Logistics Operating Environment, Aviation Automation Proof of Enablers (CLOE PoE) for PM Aviation Systems and the Software Engineering Directorate (SED).
From 2007 to 2016, Mays worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as the Program Manager, and was responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of all assigned programs. Timothy C. (Biff) was also committed to $4M in support services revenue in FY '14 and delivered $6M.
From 2016 to 2018, Mays worked at Army Fleet Support, Vertex, L3 as the Director of Apache Maintenance/Program Manager, and was responsible for directing aircraft maintenance and support operations for one third of the U. S. Army’s AH-64D/E fleet.
Finally, from 2018 to present, Mays has been working at Strategic Resolution Experts as the Program Manager, United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence G33/35.
Timothy C. (Biff) Mays Sr. attended Jacksonville State University from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.
