Stephen D. Johnston

Stephen D. Johnston is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at SRM (Strategic Resource Management) since 2012, Stephen also holds positions as a Board Member and Advisor. As the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of GoodJob Software, LLC from 2019 to 2024, Stephen led the development of an AI-based software company focused on streamlining the hiring process for employers. Previous roles include Operating Partner at Forté Ventures, where Stephen assisted in raising a $52M venture capital fund, and Producer for the film adaptation of the New York Times Best Selling Book "Same Kind of Different as Me." Stephen's earlier experience includes significant contributions at Itron, Inc., where Stephen D. co-founded SmartSynch, Inc., and at First Union Securities, now known as Wells Fargo, in investment banking. Stephen holds a BBA in Managerial Finance and Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi.
