Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Account Manager at Strategic Risk Solutions, managing a portfolio of captive insurance companies and risk retention groups since May 2017. Previous experience includes working as an Assistant Vice-President and Senior Loan Analyst in Healthcare at CapitalSource, where responsibilities involved financial diligence and collateral risk assessments for borrowers. Matthew also held various positions at Crowe Horwath LLP, starting as Tax Staff, progressing to Audit Senior, and ultimately becoming an Audit Manager, managing client relationships and multiple audit teams. Earlier experience includes an internship at Riddle, Darrell and Associates focused on account reconciliations and bookkeeping. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
