Hamza Kazmi

Hamza Kazmi has a strong background in data engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at Kavtech Solutions (Private) Ltd. as an ETL/BI Developer, where they successfully implemented changes in ETL jobs and transformations using Pentaho Data Integration. Hamza also prepared builds for the complete ETL solution and deployed it on a Linux server. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they were an Associate Data Engineer at Afiniti, where they developed data pipelines using Python, implemented dimensional models using star schema, and automated processes for data integrity and missing data detection. In 2022, they worked as a Data Engineer at Arbisoft, primarily focusing on edX Data Engineering. Hamza used Docker to build and test Prefect flows, wrote test cases using pytest, and contributed as an Arbisoft contractor. Currently, from 2023, they are working as a Senior Data Engineer at Strategic Systems International.

Hamza Kazmi completed their bachelor's degree in Information Technology (BBIT) from the University of the Punjab from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. Some of these certifications include "Data Engineering using AWS Analytics Services" from Udemy in January 2022, "Apache Spark 3 - Spark Programming in Python for Beginners" from Udemy in September 2021, "Feature Engineering for Machine Learning in Python" from DataCamp in January 2021, and many others. These certifications indicate an ongoing commitment to expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of technology and data analysis.
