For 15 years he led the Jacobs Transport Planning team in Scotland and Ireland and was instrumental in the three-fold growth of the team. He has regularly provided advice and support to national bodies and local authorities in developing transport strategies and taking forward transport interventions. Working closely with senior officials means that he has considerable knowledge of the policy and political dimensions associated with delivering national government policies.
