Jeremy Steslicki

Mr. Steslicki has ten years of Capitol Hill experience, most recently serving as National Security Advisor and Director of Appropriations to Senator Tammy Baldwin (WI), a Member of Senate Committee on Appropriations. Mr. Steslicki combines his nuanced understanding of policy and process with an extensive network of congressional contacts to support SMI clients' strategic objectives, with a particular expertise in securing federal funding increases through the appropriations process. His policy focus areas include defense science and technology, Army and Navy procurement, and U.S. defense industrial base issues. Mr. Steslicki also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to former Congressman Sandy Levin (MI-09), a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, and as a Legislative Aide to former Senator Carl Levin (MI), the then-Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Mr. Steslicki holds a BA in German Language and Literature from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Political Science.
