Mike Stacy

Vice President at Strategic Marketing Innovations

Mr. Stacy has more than 45 years of experience in initiating and managing multi-billion dollar programs of high technology content. These programs benefited from his broad knowledge of organizational dynamics, business strategy and tactics. Quality management was, and continues to be, a vital component of this prior experience. Before joining SMI, Mr. Stacy served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Burdeshaw Associates. During his tenure at Burdeshaw, Mr. Stacy interacted at the senior levels of a multitude of domestic and international companies. Mr. Stacy has also served as a Marketing Vice President for Bombardier, Inc., a global transportation and aerospace company. Mr. Stacy was responsible for global marketing, strategic planning and program/business development activities, which included specific oversight of Bombardier defense marketing and business development. Mr. Stacy was also responsible for organizing, developing and implementing Bombardier legislative strategies and government relations activities in the United States. Further, he established Bombardier’s Surveillance Systems Washington operations and a U.S.-based operating unit incorporating flight testing, systems integration, final assembly, product support and marketing/business development functions in the State of Oklahoma. During his tenure in the United States Army, Mr. Stacy developed expertise in the fields of military intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; field artillery; aviation; missile and unmanned aerial vehicle systems technology; DoD acquisition management; and Congressional liaison. Mr. Stacy is a Master Army Aviator and has been certified by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Contract Management Association as a professional program manager, contracts manager and materiel acquisition manager. He did his undergraduate work in Business Administration at Auburn University and did his graduate work in Systems Management at the University of Southern California. Mr. Stacy is active in the Alumni Associations of both institutions. He also serves on the Board of Directors of kSARIA, Inc. and the Senior Advisory Board of All Purpose Networks, LLC. He recently served on the Senior Advisory Board of Crowley Maritime Corporation and on the Board of Directors of Radant Technologies, Inc.
