Caitlyn Bonilla began their professional career in 2012 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Applied Chemistry at Harvey Mudd College. In 2015, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology's School of Life Sciences. Caitlyn also held other roles at Harvey Mudd College such as Math Grader, Undergraduate Research Assistant in Applied Mathematics, and Undergraduate Research Assistant in Chemical Engineering. In 2016, they became a Research Engineer II/Research Associate I at Gladstone Institutes. In 2019, they were a Wet Lab Automation Engineer at Google via Adecco. In 2020, they became an Automation Engineer II at Eikon Therapeutics, where they were responsible for automating their single-particle tracking and various other platforms. Finally, in 2022, they became a Software Automation Engineer at Strateos.
Caitlyn Bonilla attended Theodore Roosevelt High School from 2008 to 2012. From 2011 to 2011, they attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, studying Mathematics. Caitlyn then attended Harvey Mudd College from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics.
