Freddy Fok has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Freddy began their career in 2014 as a Student Engineer at Transport Canada, where they conducted research and analysis on airworthiness of transport category aeroplanes. In 2014, they also worked as a Solutions Architect Co-op at Bell.

In 2016, Freddy worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, and then they joined CATSA / ACSTA in 2017 as a Screening Technology Deployment specialist.

From 2018 to 2021, Freddy worked at CS CANADA Inc., taking on various roles as a Software Developer and Consultant for companies such as Lion Electric and Leddartech. Freddy also served as an Embedded Software Specialist for FADECs at Pratt & Whitney Canada during this time.

Currently, Freddy is working at Joby Aviation as a Software Engineer, Automation since 2022.

Freddy Fok attended Carleton University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at Carleton University from 2016 to 2018 and completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
