Lou Bonaventura Ms

Lou Bonaventura, MS, LPC is an experienced school counselor currently serving the Stratford Board of Education since March 1996, with roles spanning multiple elementary schools and Bunnell High School, where responsibilities included counseling over 275 students in grades 9 through 12. Alongside counseling, Lou has a rich history of coaching, having founded the girls' golf program and served in various coaching capacities for boys' and girls' soccer, basketball, and golf. Since July 2013, Lou has also been a college consultant with the College Coach, LLC, offering tailored college planning and athletic recruiting advising for high school students and their families. Previous experience includes counseling at St. Joseph High School and a role in transfer admissions at the University of Bridgeport. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Counselor Education from the University of Bridgeport and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University.
