John K. Bell

John is the Chair of Stack Capital Group (STCK-TSX), Chair of Hexo Corp (HEXO-TSX, NASDAQ) and the Principal of Onbelay Capital Inc, a private equity and investment Company. He is past director and Chair of Canopy Growth (TSX, NYSE), and Canopy Rivers (TSX). He is past CEO and director of ATS Automation (TSX). John was the founder, owner and CEO of Shred-Tech Limited, a global manufacturer of shredding and recycling equipment and creator of the mobile document shredding industry. A believer in community service John has contributed to numerous organizations including Cambridge Memorial Hospital (Chair), Waterloo Regional Police (Chair), Waterloo Regional Prosperity Council(Chair), Crohns and Colitis Canada (national Secretary). He joined the Festival's Board of Governors in March 2019 and serves on The Finance &Audit and Marketing and Communications Committees.
