Dr. Suneeta Monga is the Associate Psychiatrist-in-Chief at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), where she holds the TD Bank Financial Group Chair in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. At SickKids, she Co-chairs one of the implementation pillars of the hospital-wide Mental Health Strategy, Chairs the Educational Committee of the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Brain and Mental Health, and serves on various strategic hospital committees. A strong advocate of the importance of integrating mental health care into the physical health care of children and youth, Dr. Monga is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric anxiety disorders who has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and written several books and book chapters. She is the creator of the Taming Sneaky Fears program, an evidence-based treatment program for preschool anxiety disorders. This work of hers has been published as a children's book that teaches anxiety management strategies to young children and their parents and is available in both English and French. Dr. Monga has presented her research nationally and internationally and she is the recipient of several awards for her teaching and mentorship of students and trainees. Dr. Monga is an Associate Professor in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is a Board Member of the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health and joined the Stratford Festival Board of Directors in 2023 and serves on the Marketing & Communication and Nominating Committees.
