Jeana Marie King

Jeana Marie King currently serves as the Assistant Recreation Programmer and Visual Arts Instructor at Smeltzer House Visual Arts Centre since September 2023. Jeana has been the Owner and Maker at JMK Pottery since 2018 and has an extensive background in design and education, previously working as a Graphic Designer for Edmonton Public Library from December 2014 to May 2023, and as a Historical Interpreter for the Government of Alberta from 2011 to 2014. Prior experience includes roles as an Educational Interpreter with the City of Edmonton and as an ESL Teacher at Columbia American School from 2009 to 2011. Jeana holds a Diploma in Design and Digital Media from MacEwan University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Alberta.
