Shannon van Dorp

Shannon Van Dorp, SCMP, is currently the Manager of Procurement Services Branch at Strathcona County. Prior to this role, Shannon held various procurement management positions at the City of Edmonton for over 15 years, including roles in category management, strategic sourcing, and senior buyer of information technology. Shannon also gained experience as a Senior Buyer at Alberta Blue Cross. With a Project Management Certificate from NAIT, a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation from Supply Chain Canada, and additional certificates from the University of Alberta Extension and MacEwan University, Shannon has a strong educational background in management and supply chain.
