Connor Waterous

Connor Waterous has had a successful career in the energy industry, starting in 2012 with Barclays as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Connor then moved to The Blackstone Group in 2013 as a Private Equity Summer Analyst, gaining valuable experience in the energy sector. In 2014, they joined KKR as a Private Equity Associate, specializing in energy investments. Connor co-founded and became a Managing Director of Waterous Energy Fund in 2017, where they played a key role in its success. Finally, they joined Strathcona Resources Ltd. in 2023 as the Senior Vice President and CFO, demonstrating their leadership and financial expertise.

Connor Waterous attended Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School from 2001 to 2010, where they completed their International Baccalaureate degree. Subsequently, they enrolled at Harvard University from 2010 to 2014 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
