Josh Gauthier

Josh Gauthier has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Josh'smost recent position is as a Production Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Serafina Energy Ltd. as a Production Engineer from October 2019 to August 2022. Before that, Josh was a Thermal Production Engineer at Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) from July 2019 to September 2019.

In their earlier career, Josh has held various roles at Devon Energy, including SAGD Production Engineer, SAGD Well Design & Integrity Engineer, and SAGD Project Engineer from 2013 to 2019.

Before joining Devon Energy, they worked at Sunshine Oilsands Ltd as a SAGD Production & Exploitation Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, Josh was at Nexen Inc. where they worked as a SAGD Completions Engineer, SAGD Production Engineer, and Field Production Engineer from 2009 to 2012.

Josh'searliest work experience includes positions at Husky Energy as a SAGD & CSS Well Operator in 2008, and at Imperial Oil as a CSS Well Operator in 2007 and as a Pipeline Operator in 2006.

Josh Gauthier began their education in 2005 at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where they pursued a Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma. Josh completed this program in 2007. Following this, they attended Montana Technological University from 2007 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science - Petroleum Engineering Degree with a specialization in Petroleum Reservoir Engineering.
