Michael Reinhart, P.Eng.

Michael Reinhart, P.Eng. has over 15 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Michael is currently working as a Senior Production Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. Since joining Pengrowth Energy Corporation in 2016, they have served as a Production Engineer, supporting multiple fields in Southern Alberta and North East BC. Michael'sresponsibilities included managing various types of gas and oil wells, including unconventional and conventional gas, CBM, shallow gas, light sweet and sour oil, and heavy oil. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Consulting Engineer at NEP Canada ULC in 2015. Michael also gained experience as an Exploitation Engineer at Rock Energy from 2013 to 2015, where they were involved in reserves management, capital budgeting, and evaluating potential new plays and acquisitions. Before that, they held positions as a Senior Operations Engineer and Operations Engineer at NEP Canada ULC and MEC Operating Company ULC, respectively. Michael began their career as a Development Engineer at Penn West Energy Trust in 2006 and later worked as a Drilling Engineer at Petro Canada from 2005 to 2006.

Michael Reinhart, P.Eng. graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, specializing in Co-op With Distinction. Michael'seducational journey in the field of Petroleum Engineering spanned from 2000 to 2005.
