Tiago Alves has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Tiago started their career as a Structures Mechanic at OGMA in 1999 and worked there until 2001. After that, they joined Ascendum Grupo, SA as a Master Technician and served in that role for 8 years. Following that, Tiago worked at AutoSueco Tanzania as an After Sales Manager from 2009 to 2012. Tiago then moved to Auto Sueco as a Technical Support and Technical Manager for Volvo East Africa from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Tiago joined SMT Group as a Service Manager. Tiago then worked at SOMA | Environmental Solutions as a Técnico fabril from 2015 to 2017. After that, Tiago worked at PETIT FORESTIER as a Maintenance Foreman from 2017 to 2018. Tiago then joined Transoliveira as an Engenheiro mecânico from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Tiago is employed at Stratio as a Customer Success Manager.

Tiago Alves completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. Tiago pursued this degree from 2002 to 2007. Later on, they enrolled in the same institution and is currently pursuing a Master in Engineering and Management of Physical Assets, which is expected to be completed from 2022 to 2024.
