Mareike Waterkotte

Mareike Waterkotte has a diverse work experience in the field of animation and design. Mareike began their career in 2017 as a Motion Graphic Designer at videoboost. In 2020, they worked as a 2D FX Animator at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. Mareike then joined GOBELINS, l'école de l'image in 2021 as a 2D Cleanup Animator. Mareike also worked at Blue-Zoo Animation Studio, where they held two roles: 2D Compositing Artist and Scene Build Artist. Their responsibilities included scene preparation, managing the library, and working on projects such as "It's Pony" and "Supertato". Currently, Mareike is working as a Marketing Artist at Stratosphere Games GmbH.

Mareike Waterkotte completed their bachelor's degree in Animation at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2019.
