Ronnie Featherstone, MSW, LCSW, is the Director of Social Work Practice and Bereavement Care for the Empath Health Hospice Division. Ronnie oversees hospice social workers and bereavement counselors for Suncoast Hospice, Suncoast Hospice of Hillsborough, Tidewell Hospice and the new Empath Hospice. Previously he was the Psychosocial Team Leader at Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, for the Green and Burgundy teams and an admissions social worker. Ronnie has worked for Suncoast Hospice for almost 25 years, 12 of which have been in leadership positions. He began his hospice career with Hospice of the Bluegrass in Kentucky. Ronnie earned his Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and his Bachelor of Social Work from Florida State University.
