Adelaide Silva has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Adelaide started their career in 1998 as a Senior Accountant Analyst at Iridium Consulting LLC, where they participated in the startup and implementation of the MXM financial Brazilian ERP system. Adelaide then joined Vésper Telecomunicações as a Senior Accountant Analyst, where they contributed to the implementation of the SAP financial ERP system and supervised accounting practices at various locations in Brazil.

In 2001, Adelaide joined Schlumberger, initially as a Brazil Reservoir Evaluation Wireline Accounting Supervisor. Adelaide demonstrated their financial management skills by supporting operations, participating in physical counts and audits, and preparing financial reports. Adelaide also provided internal financial training to the staff. Adelaide then took on roles as a Business Analyst, managing financial operations for various segments in Brazil and participating in the implementation of the Lawson financial ERP system.

From 2007 to 2010, Adelaide worked at WesternGeco as the Latin America Area and South America Area Consolidation and Reporting Manager, where they were responsible for financial consolidation and reporting.

In 2010, Adelaide returned to Schlumberger as the Latin America South Drilling Group Financial Planning & Analysis and later took on various Financial Controller roles, managing financial operations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.

Adelaide's experience also includes leadership positions, such as being the Head of Administration and First Lady at Rotary Club Rio de Janeiro Laranjeiras and the Student Exchange Officer at Rotary International. Adelaide also founded their own consultancy company, AL Sete Consultoria e Planejamento, where they served as the CEO and Founder.

Most recently, Adelaide worked as the Latin America Region Controller at Stratum Reservoir, utilizing their financial expertise to oversee operations in the region.

Adelaide Silva obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 1987 to 1991. Adelaide then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 1997-1998. In 2003-2004, Adelaide completed their Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2019, they obtained a specialization in Tax Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Adelaide also holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from CFC - Conselho Federal de Contabilidade, which they obtained in January 1992.
