Stratum Reservoir
Chad Belanger is a seasoned professional in the geoscience field, currently serving as a Project Manager at Stratum Reservoir since July 2023. Previously, Chad held the role of Geoscience Tech at WDVG|L Petroleum Engineering Laboratories from August 2018 to July 2023, where significant contributions included designing and implementing a patented Methane Absorption test, introducing instrumentation for liquid Nano-permeability measurements, and conducting extensive NMR imaging studies. Prior to that, Chad worked as a Geology Specialist at Intertek from May 2015 to August 2018, managing project schedules and revenue targets, and performing a variety of laboratory tests related to rock mechanics and fluid characteristics. Earlier experience as a Geological Technician at PTS Laboratories, Inc. from January 2013 to May 2015 involved sample acquisition and permeability and porosity testing. Chad holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Sam Houston State University, completed in 2013.
