Jonni A Valdes Mercado has a diverse work experience in the engineering and oil industry. jonni A started their career at Ministerio de energía y petróleo Venezuela as a Pasante/Tesista/Ingeniero, where they evaluated reservoirs and monitored well production. jonni A then joined DIRECTIONAL ENGINEERING AND SERVICE S.A. de C.V. (DIESSA) as an Ingeniero de campo, responsible for monitoring drilling operations and proposing corrective actions. After that, they worked at Weatherford as an Engineer/Express labs Service/SCAL, where they conducted various tasks such as hydrocarbon logging, crude and water sampling, and core recovery. Currently, they are employed at Stratum Reservoir as an Engineer/Express Lab Service/SCAL.

Jonni A Valdes Mercado attended Universidad del Zulia from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering. jonni A'sfield of study focused on Petroleum Engineering. After taking a break from education, they later pursued a degree from the Instituto Universitario de Tecnología de Maracaibo (IUTM) from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they obtained a specialization in Petroleum Geology, with a general focus on Geology and Earth Sciences.
