Glen Raffel

Glen Raffel is a seasoned expert in clinical research and development with extensive experience in the biotechnology and medical fields. Currently serving as the VP of Clinical Research and Development at Stratus Therapeutics since September 2025, Glen also provides consulting services as a self-employed biotech consultant. Prior roles include Vice President and Senior Medical Director at Vor Bio, along with an academic appointment as Affiliate Associate Professor at UMass Medical School, where research focused on hematopoietic stem cell function and related therapeutic areas. Glen's earlier experience at Magenta Therapeutics involved overseeing clinical trials for advancements in blood and bone marrow transplantation. Glen holds an M.D. and Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College.
