Karim A.

Karim A. has a long and varied work experience, beginning with a Financial Analyst role at Merrill Lynch in 2002. In 2004, they joined The Executive Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (DDIA) as a Senior Associate. In 2006, they moved to Dubai World as a Vice President and Associate Vice President. In 2008, they became Co-Founder and Executive Director of Ecobility Energy Solutions, where they drove the company's mandate to identify and commercialize a portfolio of high potential and disruptive ventures. In 2014, they founded and became CEO of TaskSpotting, a micro-influencer marketing platform for branded content. In 2018, they joined V1 Studio as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Growth Officer. Most recently, in 2020, they became Chief Executive Officer of Noze, an AI and sensor startup which has developed the first commercially viable and fully integrable electronic nose.

Karim A. completed an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from INSEAD in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Finance from Concordia University between 1998 and 2002.
