Katie Drake has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Katie began their career as a Social Recreation Intern at Amelia Island Plantation Resort in 2003. Katie then worked as a Child Care Co-director at the City of Novato Parks, Recreation, and Community Services from 2003 to 2004. Katie later served as a Teen Coordinator at Mill Valley Parks and Recreation in 2004. In 2005, they briefly worked at Merrill Lynch as a Head Service Support Controller.
From 2006 to 2011, Katie worked at the City of Novato Parks, Recreation, and Community Services as a Recreation Coordinator. In this role, they engaged in various tasks such as managing projects, providing customer service, supervising volunteers, designing monthly newsletters, overseeing dance programs, creating theater materials, scheduling staff, organizing events, and planning trips.
Katie then transitioned to GU Energy Labs / Advanced Food Concepts, where they worked as an E-Commerce/International Specialist - Customer Service from 2011 to 2014. Katie'sresponsibilities included customer service and support in the e-commerce and international sectors.
Following this, Katie joined method products pbc in 2014 as a Customer Service Associate. Katie provided excellent customer service and support until 2017.

Katie Drake attended San Marin High School from 1995 to 1999 where they graduated. In 1999, they enrolled at California State University, Chico and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Administration, specializing in Community & Commercial Recreation and Resort & Lodging Management. Katie also completed a minor in Spanish. Katie successfully completed their degree in 2003.
