Becca Tucker is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in journalism and publishing. Currently serving as Deputy Publisher at Straus News since 2008, Becca plays a key role in guiding the company into its fourth generation. Becca also founded and continues to edit and publish Dirt magazine, a green living quarterly with a circulation of 15,000, and organizes community events such as the Kitchen Garden Tour. Previous positions include professional player for the inaugural women's New York Ultimate frisbee team, staff reporter and managing editor roles at Straus Media-Manhattan, copyeditor at New York Amsterdam News, and reporter for The New York Sun. Becca holds a BA in English from Yale University, earned in 2004.
