Alexa Wainscott

Alexa Wainscott is an Associate Attorney at Strauss Troy, where employment commenced in June 2022. Prior to this role, Alexa served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court from June 2018 to June 2022 and as a Motions Specialist at the U.S. Courts of Appeals from May 2017 to May 2018. Earlier experience includes a Law Clerk position at Legal Aid of the Bluegrass from May 2016 to May 2017 and a Resource Acquisition Internship with Public Allies in 2014, focusing on securing resources for homeless and disadvantaged youth. Additionally, while attending the University of Cincinnati, Alexa took on significant roles as a ROAR Tour Guide and Student Ambassador, engaging with prospective students and marketing the university. Alexa holds a Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law, earned between 2015 and 2018, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy with a focus on Law and Ethics from the University of Cincinnati, obtained in 2014. As a testament to academic excellence, Alexa graduated as Valedictorian from Madeira High School in 2011.
